Cutting edge here means open-weight models on hardware you control, egress off by default, and proof on a status page — not a demo that lives in someone else’s cloud.
Compute + memory
The work happens on the box. We size memory class by how many people ask at once: 32–64GB class for S, 96–128GB class for M, larger for L. Exact board and revision are confirmed when we image a unit — we will not pretend a SKU is frozen before it ships.
The model
An open-weight model that runs on hardware you own. We preload it and can offer updates. You can turn updates off. Frontier labs still win the hardest open-ended reasoning this year. Keep both until you trust the box.
The app
One place on your intranet. People sign in. They drop a PDF or paste text they will not put in ChatGPT. They ask. Seats are logins. Capacity is concurrent use.
The network story
Plug into your LAN. Outbound is off by default. If the box needs a patch, that is a decision you make — not a silent call home. The status page is how IT and counsel can see the state without taking our word for it.
S / M / L
Same product. Different concurrent load.
Solo / two desks
1–2 heavy chats at once. 32–64GB class. Right for a partner, founder, or specialist who will not paste the file and does not need a floor of seats.
5–10 person firm
3–8 at once. 96–128GB class. Built for an office that is not all asking at 9:05. This is the unit we expect most firms to order.
Busy floor
8–15 at once. A larger unit or a second M — same app, more concurrent room. We will tell you which after we hear the busy hour.
